The Calaboose Museum is only made possible through the efforts of our local community. Whether it’s donations, memberships, volunteer docents and board members, there are many different ways to support this museum.

The Calaboose African American History Museum is a vital part of the community in San Marcos and Hays County, preserving and telling the stories about the many experiences, accomplishments and contributions of African Americans. CAAHM is a 501(c)3 nonprofit funded by grants and donations. You can contribute to this important work by becoming a donor.
Do you like jazz? You can earmark your contribution to support the Eddie Durham Jazz Fest that takes place each year in October by putting "Eddie Durham Jazz Festival" in the donation comments section.
