The Calaboose Museum is only made possible through the efforts of our local community. Whether it’s donations, memberships, volunteer docents and board members, there are many different ways to support this museum.
The Calaboose Museum has an opportunity for a Museum Manager to serve in a part-time contract position. The museum manager would help with operations, fundraising, administrative duties, tours and outreach. If you have strong organizational skills, love learning and sharing history and work independently, please learn more about this position here.

Our volunteer docents are the front line of the daily operations of the museum. They support us by serving as museum/event staff, guiding tours, and welcoming guests as they enter the museum. If you’re interested in becoming a docent, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
The museum is sustained by a team of loyal community members who dedicate their time serving as a part of our Executive Board. Members of the board are voted in and serve two year terms in which they assist with event planning, fundraising, and curating the museum exhibits. Learn more about our board members here.
