The Calaboose African American History Museum presented a FREE CONCERT Saturday, October 15, 2022, celebrating San Marcos native, Eddie Durham, a legendary swing-era jazz guitarist, trombonist, arranger and composer.


The 2022 Eddie Durham Jazz Fest featured a concert from 11a.m. to 5 p.m. with special guest and MC, ‘Topsy’ M. Durham, Eddie Durham’s daughter and biographer. Hays County Food Bank accepted donations and canned goods to fill the van. Food trucks, arts and crafts booths and jazz all day made this a wonderful way to spend an October Saturday.
